Welcome to CochiseAbility
"CochiseAbility, a Center for Independence” has closed the office in Sierra Vista. We are doing some restructuring in order to cut costs. We still have the same phone numbers so please call us if you have a need. Our mentors at DIRECT, Center for Independence in Tucson provide training in Sierra Vista, Douglas, and other rural communities through a rural outreach program. Contact us at #520-417-0901, fax #520-417-0902, toll free #1-877-417-0901 and our Information and Referral #520-456-1181. We are still available to assist you to become independent. Check the community calendar for periodic updates on events offered.

Our Mission Statement is: To increase services and advocacy by and for persons with all types of disabilities in Cochise County.

Information & Referral on community resources is available on the CochiseAbility web page. You may search through the listings for any word by using the search field found at the top right hand position of this page. This will result in a listing of all agencies who include the word in their narrative description.

BenefitsCheckUp
is an on line tool made available through a partnership with the Arizona Governor's office. Use it to find information about your eligibility for benefits and programs.

CochiseAbility, is affiliated with a network of Centers for Independence. Background information about the Independent Living Center concept can be found at CyberCIL.
